{"id":19897,"date":"2026-03-17T08:26:35","date_gmt":"2026-03-17T02:56:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.naavi.org\/wp\/?p=19897"},"modified":"2026-03-17T08:50:19","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T03:20:19","slug":"fdppi-study-centres-to-be-set-up-at-different-places","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.naavi.org\/wp\/fdppi-study-centres-to-be-set-up-at-different-places\/","title":{"rendered":"FDPPI Study Centres to be set up at different places"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"40\" data-end=\"320\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.naavi.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/study_center-scaled.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-19902\" src=\"https:\/\/www.naavi.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/study_center-1024x572.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"358\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.naavi.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/study_center-1024x572.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.naavi.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/study_center-300x167.png 300w, https:\/\/www.naavi.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/study_center-768x429.png 768w, https:\/\/www.naavi.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/study_center-1536x857.png 1536w, https:\/\/www.naavi.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/study_center-2048x1143.png 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"40\" data-end=\"320\">The Foundation of Data Protection Professionals in India (FDPPI) proposes to establish <strong data-start=\"127\" data-end=\"150\">FDPPI Study Centres<\/strong> across different cities in India as part of its capacity-building and community-development initiatives in the field of data protection, privacy, and digital governance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"322\" data-end=\"509\">These Study Centres will be <strong data-start=\"350\" data-end=\"407\">managed and coordinated by Associate Faculty of FDPPI<\/strong> and will function as local knowledge hubs to promote continuous professional learning and engagement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"511\" data-end=\"548\"><strong data-start=\"511\" data-end=\"548\">Objectives of FDPPI Study Centres<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"550\" data-end=\"1350\">\n<li data-section-id=\"12yddmt\" data-start=\"550\" data-end=\"726\">\n<p data-start=\"552\" data-end=\"726\">To create a <strong data-start=\"564\" data-end=\"611\">structured platform for regular interaction<\/strong> among data protection professionals, auditors, compliance officers, legal experts, and technology practitioners.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1to2gc5\" data-start=\"727\" data-end=\"877\">\n<p data-start=\"729\" data-end=\"877\">To conduct <strong data-start=\"740\" data-end=\"818\">periodic training programs, workshops, and certification-oriented sessions<\/strong> aligned with FDPPI\u2019s professional development framework.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"171ebj7\" data-start=\"878\" data-end=\"1088\">\n<p data-start=\"880\" data-end=\"1088\">To facilitate <strong data-start=\"894\" data-end=\"986\">knowledge discussions, case-study reviews, regulatory updates, and best-practice sharing<\/strong> on emerging developments such as DPDPA implementation, DGPSI frameworks, and global privacy trends.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1px28g0\" data-start=\"1089\" data-end=\"1236\">\n<p data-start=\"1091\" data-end=\"1236\">To encourage <strong data-start=\"1104\" data-end=\"1160\">local networking and professional community building<\/strong>, thereby strengthening FDPPI\u2019s national outreach and grassroots presence.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"jurynb\" data-start=\"1237\" data-end=\"1350\">\n<p data-start=\"1239\" data-end=\"1350\">To support <strong data-start=\"1250\" data-end=\"1286\">talent development and mentoring<\/strong> for aspiring DPOs, Data Auditors, and governance professionals.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1352\" data-end=\"1590\">Each Study Centre will meet <strong data-start=\"1380\" data-end=\"1446\">at regular intervals (monthly \/ bi-monthly as decided locally)<\/strong> and may organize public awareness programs, industry roundtables, and collaborative initiatives with academic institutions and industry bodies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1592\" data-end=\"1791\">Through this initiative, FDPPI aims to <strong data-start=\"1631\" data-end=\"1701\">build a vibrant nationwide ecosystem of data protection excellence<\/strong>, enabling continuous learning, professional growth, and practical implementation support.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1592\" data-end=\"1791\">Each Study Center will require at least one Empanelled Associate Faculty Member as the &#8220;Coordinator&#8221;.
