In order to make all
criminal offences under the Act also liable for civil liabilities, the
following amendment can be made to add section 43(A) under Chapter IX:
“Whoever commits any offence
under any of the sections under Chapter XI of this Act shall also be liable to
pay damages to the extent of RS 1 crore to the person so affected.”
