Australia Storm into Finals
The second semi final of the Cricket World Cup between Australia and South Africa ended with a convincing victory for Australia
In the process Glenn McGrath emerged as the highest wicket taker of the tournament and also climbed to the 5th place in the NCR rating. Scott Styris remained remained the leader with 754 NCR points.
His close rival now is Mathew Hayden who overtook Jayasuriya. He now has 706 points and has a very realistic chance of emerging the top player in the next match.
With two more matches to go, therefore the race is between the top three players of the current table and each one of them deserve the honour as much as any body else. It is to be noted that Hayden despite not being an allrounder is in contention.
