Jayasuriya pushed down to third spot as Styris and Hayden Soar Ahead
On the 36th day of the Cricket World Cup, Australi took on New Zealand. With both teams having already moved into the Semi Final Stage, this was a match of academic interest. New Zealand rested Bond and Oram while Australia played to their full strength.
The result was an overwhelming win for Australia
From the NCR points view, Scott Styris and Hayden made significant progress and occupied the top two places pushing down Sanat Jayasuriya the current leader to the third spot.
From the lead generated by Styris it appears that he is well placed to be the Man of the World Cup .
