 GC Smith is the  Interim Man of World Cup 2007 at the Group Stage

Day 13 of the world cup saw the concluding game of the group stage played out between Bangladesh and Bermuda. In a rain affected match reduced to 21 overs, Bangladesh won as expected and confirmed its movement to the super eight stage. In the process they eliminated the Indian team from the world cup.

In the NCR table, as expected , Gream Smith of South Africa remained the leader. To some extent both could be considered as surprise leaders since other all rounders such as Shaun Pollock, Flintoff, etc have been left behind.
