Heros and Villains...10

Netherlands Wins in Style While New Zealand Sail through Comfortably..day 10

Day 10 saw two minnows Netherlands and Scotland taking on each other in a game of no consequence to the competition in general. Both teams have already been eliminated from the championship and the match was only important for proving a point of which of the minnows is better. In the end Netherlands did an excellent job thrashing Scotland in a manner which could have made many other senior teams proud. While Stelling was the NCR man of the match for Netherlands, Haq of Scotland contributed by a huge negative performance that made him the villain of the match.

The NewZealand Canada match was again a formality since New Zealand has already moved into the next round and Canada has already been eliminated. But it was important for New Zealand to keep up the momentum and this they did in style scoring an unbeatable 363. Though Canada was not expected to overcome this total, they did turn out a creditable performance by scoring as much as 249 runs.  This was reflected in JM Davison emerging the NCR Hero of the match and the day with a creditable 136 NCR points.

All eyes are now on tomorrow's match where India fight out with Sri Lanka for a place in the next stage while Sri Lanka has already moved in.
